Why did Satisfactory never get a "smart build mode" for conveyor belts, in the way that roads are built in many games? i mean that the game knows exactly where to turn to get a nice 90° turn, and does it for us (or at least shows us where to place a post to get that 90 thing). in many games, you can choose with one button press whether you want a straight/diagonal/free-form connection between two points, or whether you want a right-angled path. details like this really spoil the fun of building "beautiful" factories in this game for me :(((

I literally just finished Satisfactory last night for the first time, and I hate those Adaptive Control Units so much. They take so long to make and need SO MUCH wiring...

That look of realization for how long A.D. take to build them all. Priceless. To be fair, I set them up to make 3/min using 4 Assemblers. Easily done in a few days. I just like working in whole numbers when I can.

Still waiting for you to make a Ctrl+Z mod. Any day now.

Calculating time as you did.. same what I did... I was happy to have made supercomputer but only after I found how much time it would had taken .. so had to slowly start planning a bigger factory with more production .. once I had done it (spending time to plan and build) , the original factory had enough time to almost finish parts needed for elevator 😂😂

Jace, I think most of us here follow you because we're genuinely interested in your journey and want to see you succeed in life, whatever success means to you. Personally, I really enjoyed your last video where you opened up about your struggles. I face similar challenges, and seeing your thought process in dealing with them was incredibly helpful. It really made a difference for me. I'm excited about your game, but more importantly, I want to see you happy. Thanks for the videos.

This is superior to Satisfactory. For some reason they made Satisfactorys world static. It is beautifully designed with swamps and forests, but in the end you set up your base 50 meters above ground so you do not have to deal with the environment. Also when we started there were hostile creatures; in a factory game (god forbid that there is a single game without killing). Building is similar, Sastisfactory was terrible in terms of verticality in the beginning and I hope Foundry adds better lifts as well. What I do not like about Foundry right now is that it is hard to set up production halls, you just build a huge bus and put everything on the sides. But at least we got pretty big buildings.

I can't believe you're working on Poo Emoji Simulator 2025! Congrats! I suffer from the similar problems: bipolar disorder, ADHD, and wariness of unfamiliar/unstructured activities I've tried to build PC games for years, and it's a challenge. Kudos to you to going through this. It's hard but worth the struggle to express yourself through this medium.
